JUST CULTURE AND DISCIPLINE a. The parties agree that it is in the best interests of the bargaining unit and the Hospital to maintain operational efficiencies and appropriate patient outcomes without the need for discipline. To that end, the parties recognize that the Just Culture community model has been demonstrated to have a positive impact on employee morale, while also having measurable, cost effective impact on improving patient outcomes and reducing errors. Accordingly, the parties agree to employee the Just Culture community model and incorporate its algorithm into the disciplinary procedure applicable to the bargaining unit.

JUST CULTURE AND DISCIPLINE. All minor infractions on an Employee's record shall be cleared after one (1) year, provided that the one (1) year shall be free of infractions.

  • DISCIPLINE AND DISCHARGE 21.01 The Employer may warn, suspend, demote or discharge employees for just cause. If the conduct or performance of an employee warrants disciplinary action, such action shall be confirmed in writing. A copy of all such documentation shall be provided to the employee(s) involved and forwarded to the office of the Union at the time they are issued.
