Labor Management Meetings. Section 18.1. In the interest of sound labor/management relations, unless mutually agreed otherwise, once each quarter, on a mutually agreeable day and time, the Employer and/or his designee shall meet with not more than four (4) representatives of the FOP/OLC to discuss pending problems and to promote a more harmonious labor/management relationship. Section 18.2. An agenda will be furnished by the party requesting the meeting at least five (5) working days in advance of the scheduled meeting with a list of the matters to be taken up in the meeting. The names of those FOP/OLC representatives who will be attending shall be furnished by the FOP/OLC representatives. The purpose of such meeting shall be to: 1. Discuss the administration of this Agreement. 2. Notify the FOP/OLC of changes made by the Employer which affect bargaining unit members of the FOP/OLC. 3. Discuss grievances which have not been processed beyond the final step of the grievance procedure when such discussions are mutually agreed to by the parties. 4. Disseminate general information of interest to the parties. 5. Discuss ways to increase productivity and improve efficiency. 6. To consider and discuss health and safety matters relating to employees. Section 18.3. It is further agreed that if special labor/management meetings have been requested, and mutually agreed upon, they shall be convened as soon as feasible.
