Labour Management Relations Committee. 20.01 The parties recognize that a forum for ongoing discussions during the term of the Agreement can promote more harmonious labour relations between them. 20.02 A Labour Management Relations Committee shall be appointed consisting of equal representation of bargaining unit employees and management representatives. A bargaining unit employee and a management representative shall be designated as co-chairman for each meeting. The terms of reference shall be established by the Committee. 20.03 Time spent by the bargaining unit employee representatives in attending the committee meetings shall be considered to be time worked. 20.04 The committee members can discuss any topics of mutual interest and concern which are related to their employment relationship, but the discussions do not constitute negotiations for the purpose of amending the collective agreement, and the committee meetings cannot deal with the adjustment of grievances. 20.05 In relation to the adjustment of contractual relationships, the committee is empowered only to make recommendations to the Employer and to the Union.
