Laid- off Employee who Obtains Contract Position. It is understood that the status of a laid-off employee who is the successful applicant for a contract position does not change. For clarity, although working in a contract position, the employee is still considered to be laid off for the purpose of Article 11 - , regardless of the length that she is in the contract position. Article 7.07 c) does not apply.
