Language Interpretation. In the interpretation of this Agreement, unless the context otherwise requires, (a) words importing the singular shall be deemed to import the plural and vice versa, (b) words denoting gender shall include all genders, (c) references to persons shall include corporations or other entities and vice versa, and (d) references to parties, Sections, schedules, paragraphs and exhibits shall mean the parties, Sections, schedules, paragraphs and exhibits of and to this Agreement, unless otherwise indicated by the context.

Language Interpretation. This Joint Study Agreement is made in two (2) languages, Indonesian and English. In case of different interpretation, the Indonesian version shall prevails.

Language Interpretation. The official language of this Agreement shall be English, and any translation into any other language shall be for convenience only.
Language Interpretation. This Agreement may be translated into different language versions and, except as provided by applicable law, the English language versions of this Agreement and Network Policies are the controlling versions thereof and will prevail.
Language Interpretation. The binding language of the Agreement shall be English. The binding language of the Agreement shall be German if the English expression used herein is translated by a German expression in brackets. In this event the English expression shall be for convenience only. Unless otherwise provided in this Agreement or as agreed upon by Purchaser and Sellers’ Agent, each notice, request, statement, instrument, certificate or other communication given, delivered or made by a Party to any other Party under or in connection with this Agreement shall be in English. In this Agreement, the headings are inserted for convenience only and shall not affect the interpretation of this Agreement. Any reference to “including” herein shall mean “including without limitation.”
Language Interpretation. In order to provide an effective procedure whereby disagreement between Local 721 and Management concerning the interpretation or application or any of the provisions of this Memorandum of Understanding affecting the rights of the parties or the working conditions of more than one employee in the unit may be effectively resolved, the following procedures are agreed upon:
a. Local 721
1. Where Local 721 has reason to believe that Management is not correctly interpreting or applying any of the provisions of this Memorandum of Understanding, Local 721 may request in writing with four (4) copies to HACLA’s Human Resource Director that a meeting be held with the authorized representatives of HACLA who have authority to make effective recommendations for such resolution of the matter. Such written request shall set forth the facts giving rise to the request for the meeting within ten (10) business days of receipt of the request for such a meeting, the parties will meet for the purpose of discussing and attempting to resolve the disagreement.
2. Within ten (10) business days of such a meeting, and in the event the matter is not satisfactorily resolved, Local 721 shall have the right to meet the principal representative(s) of HACLA who have the authority to resolve the
Language Interpretation. 21.4.1 This Agreement is written in the English language (except that Annexes may be partly in the German language). Terms to which a German translation has been added shall be interpreted throughout this Agreement in the meaning assigned to them by the German translation.
21.4.2 Any reference made in this Agreement to any types of companies or participations, proceedings, authorities or other bodies, rights, institutions, regulations or legal relationships (collectively, the “Legal Terms”) under German law shall extend to any corresponding or identical Legal Terms under foreign law to the extent that relevant facts and circumstances must be assessed under such foreign law. Where no corresponding or identical Legal Terms under foreign law exist, such Legal Terms shall be introduced as – functionally – come closest to the Legal Terms under German law.
21.4.3 Wherever this Agreement refers to a contract or other agreement, such reference shall apply to and include all ancillary agreements, arrangements, amendments, side letters, waivers and other legally binding statements, if any, related thereto.
Language Interpretation. Words imparting singular also include the plural and vice versa where the context so requires. The misplacement, misspelling, addition, omission or typographical error of a word or character shall not change the intent of any part of this Agreement from that set forth by this Agreement as a whole.
