Lateness and Absences. ‌ Employees will be in their respective assigned working locations, ready to commence work at their designated starting times, and they will not leave their working locations at times or in a manner inconsistent with the terms of this agreement. It will be the responsibility of employees to familiarize themselves with the work schedules which the Employer posts at regular intervals, and to report for work in accordance with the information contained in such work schedules. If an employee is going to be absent from work, the employee will make every reasonable effort to notify their designated supervisor at least four hours before the scheduled start time for shifts. In the event that an employee is going to be late, they must provide a reasonable explanation and will give as much advance notice as possible.

  • Leaves and Absences A. 1) Ten (10) days of sick leave shall be credited annually to each teacher in accordance with Section 1154A of the School Code. The total unused portion of the annual sick leave allowance shall be permitted to accumulate indefinitely. Xxxx leave accumulated prior to a leave of absence shall be credited to the teacher upon return from the leave.

  • Reporting Absences (a) Employees are responsible to report to work on time on each scheduled work day.

  • Sickness and Accident If the Contractor’s Employees fall sick in the period during which they are engaged on the RLA, the UNDP shall not be responsible for arranging or paying for medical treatment and attention. The UNDP shall not be required to pay for the services of the Contractor’s Employees for any period that the Contractor’s Employees are incapacitated by sickness. If in the opinion of the UNDP, any of the Contractor’s Employees either has been or will be incapacitated by sickness for an unreasonable period or period then, and in that case, it shall be at the discretion of the UNDP to decide if and when the employment of the Contractor’s Employee under the RLA shall be terminated and the Contractor be required to replace him. In this event, the Contractor shall on receipt of instructions from the UNDP comply forthwith and shall substitute for the Employee whose services are so terminated another and satisfactory person and the whole costs of such replacements shall be at the Contractor’s expense.

  • Personal Illness and Injury Leave 1. Full-time employees shall be entitled to ten (10) days leave with full-time pay for each school year for purposes of personal illness or injury. Employees who work less than full-time shall be entitled to that portion of the ten (10) days leave as the number of hours per week of scheduled duty relates to the number of hours for a full-time employee in a comparable position.

  • Excused Absences Absences will be excused only under the following circumstances.

  • Extended Absences In the event Tenant will be away from the Premises for more than 7 consecutive days, Tenant agrees to notify Landlord in writing of such absence. During such absence, Landlord may enter the premises at times reasonable necessary to maintain the property and inspect for damages and needed repairs.

  • Other Absences An employee who is absent from work for any reason, other than those reasons listed above, will not be entitled either to have his/her vacation scheduled or to receive a vacation allowance during the period of such absence.
