LAY-OFF AND RE-EMPLOYMENT. a. Lay-offs will be in order of seniority. The employee with the least seniority will be the first released. Rehire will be in the reverse order: i.e., that employee with the most seniority will be the first rehired. Ten days notice will be given in the event of lay-off via certified mail.
