Common use of Lay-off Notice Clause in Contracts

Lay-off Notice. In the event of a lay-off due to lack of work, the employees affected shall be given three (3) days’ notice in advance. The Union Stewards shall be given adequate notice of pending lay- offs.

Lay-off Notice. In the event of a lay-off off, for a duration longer than 3-days, due to lack of work, the employees affected shall be given three one (31) days’ notice in advanceday paid notice.
