Common use of Layoff of Bumped Employee Clause in Contracts

Layoff of Bumped Employee. (a) The employee laid off as a result of a displaced employee's reversion to a lower classification shall receive written notice of layoff not less than ten (10) calendar days prior to the effective date of the layoff.
