LEAD INSTRUCTOR ASSIGNMENTS. Prior to June 30, 2016, the Joint Staffing Committee shall review the current process for allocating Lead Instructor assignments in order to allow the Union committee members input in to Lead Instructor staffing protocols. (See also Letter A and Letter E for Staffing Provisions) LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING F: HEALTH AND SAFETY Commencing in 2015-2016 school year, the parties agree to implement guidelines relating to the Board’s Emergency Procedures, First Aid and Training Procedures for all work sites. Both parties will contribute to the development of each site plan. Any off site issues can be addressed through the Mutual Concerns Committee. All parties agree to co-plan and participate in site specific drills relating to the Emergency Procedures each spring and fall.

LEAD INSTRUCTOR ASSIGNMENTS. Lead Instructors shall be qualified to teach at least one course in their discipline. The selection of the Lead Instructor is the responsibility of the Executive Xxxx and Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs. Consideration for this position will first be given to full-time faculty. In order to provide equitability in responsibilities and compensation for faculty serving as Lead Instructors, specific job descriptions will be developed and maintained for each Lead Instructor position and the following compensation guidelines will be followed:

  • Acting Assignment (a) For the purpose of this Agreement, acting assignment means the assignment of an employee on an acting basis to a Postmaster or Senior Assistant position which is at a higher classification level than the position to which he is appointed. An employee will perform the duties of the higher classification level that may be required during the acting assignment in order to be entitled to receive the acting pay.

  • Subcontracting; Assignment The Contractor may not subcontract any portion of the services provided under this Contract without obtaining the prior written approval of the Procurement Officer, nor may the Contractor assign this Contract or any of its rights or obligations hereunder, without the prior written approval of the Procurement Officer provided, however, that a contractor may assign monies receivable under a contract after due notice to the State. Any subcontracts shall include such language as may be required in various clauses contained within this Contract, exhibits, and attachments. The Contract shall not be assigned until all approvals, documents, and affidavits are completed and properly registered. The State shall not be responsible for fulfillment of the Contractor’s obligations to its subcontractors.

  • Summer Assignments Employees who worked less than a 12-month schedule at the 10 time of their work-related accident will not be guaranteed summer employment while 11 participating in the Alternate Duty Program.

  • Training Assignments The Supervisor or designee may establish written training assignments to enable an employee to gain the additional experience and training required for the job for a period of time not to exceed two years. At the completion of the training assignment, the employee’s pay will be set no less than the entry rate of pay for the occupational pay band.

  • Shift Assignments When an opening occurs in a shift assignment in an appropriate work group at a location, preference shall be given to employees within the classification who possess the training, ability and any required special qualifications to perform the work required, on the basis of seniority. In the event that no employee desires a shift assignment, employees shall be selected in order of inverse seniority. This provision shall not apply to necessary training assignments. This provision shall not in itself alter the practice of rotating shifts where such practice presently exists. No employee who has a regular shift assignment on the effective date of the Agreement shall be involuntarily displaced from such shift assignment as a result of this Article.

  • TEACHER ASSIGNMENT A. Under normal circumstances, the teachers will be notified by the Administration in writing of their programs for the coming school year, including the school(s) to which they will be assigned, the grades and/or subjects that they will teach, and any special or unusual classes that they will have by one (1) week before the close of school. Changes in such programs may be made after one (1) week before the close of school, if necessary, and the teachers involved in the change will be notified as soon as possible.

  • Additional Assignments The Contractor further agrees to, and if applicable, cause each of its employees to, execute, acknowledge, and deliver all applications, specifications, oaths, assignments, and all other instruments which the City might reasonably deem necessary in order to apply for and obtain copyright protection, mask work registration, trademark registration and/or protection, letters patent, or any similar rights in any and all countries and in order to assign and convey to the City, its successors, assigns and nominees, the sole and exclusive right, title, and interest in and to the deliverables. The Contractor’s obligations to execute, acknowledge, and deliver (or cause to be executed, acknowledged, and delivered) instruments or papers such as those described in this Paragraph 38 a., b., and c. shall continue after the termination of this Contract with respect to such deliverables. In the event the City should not seek to obtain copyright protection, mask work registration or patent protection for any of the deliverables, but should desire to keep the same secret, the Contractor agrees to treat the same as Confidential Information under the terms of Paragraph 37 above.

  • Teacher Assignments 6.10.1 Non-probationary teachers will be given the opportunity to indicate in writing their preference as to subject and grade assignment for the next school year. A teacher who desires a change of assignment within a school shall submit a Preference Form to the School Director. The preference will be considered when making assignments.

  • Collateral Assignment The Owner may assign this contract as collateral security. The Company is not responsible for the validity or effect of a collateral assignment. The Company will not be responsible to an assignee for any payment or other action taken by the Company before receipt of the assignment in writing at its Home Office. The interest of any beneficiary will be subject to any collateral assignment made either before or after the beneficiary is named. A collateral assignee is not an Owner. A collateral assignment is not a transfer of ownership. Ownership can be transferred only by complying with Section 8.2.

  • CESSION, ASSIGNMENT AND TRANSFER 30.1 The Licensee is not entitled to cede, assign or transfer any of its rights, title or interest in the Agreement without XXXXX’s consent, which consent must not be unreasonably withheld.
