Common use of Learner Rates Clause in Contracts

Learner Rates. Learner jobs requiring “learner” rates, due to lack of training opportunity provided by the promotional sequence of related jobs, shall be negotiated and made a part of this Agreement. A schedule of learner rates for the respective learning periods of hours of actual learning experience with the Company on jobs for which train- ing opportunity is not provided by promotional sequence of related jobs, shall be established at the level of the Wage Scale for the job classes. This determination shall be on the basis of the required employment training and experience time specified in Factor of thejob classification record on the respective jobs as follows:
