Leave for Medical and Dental Appointments. An employee shall make every reasonable effort to schedule medical and dental appointments on non-work time. Should this not be possible, the Director shall grant such unpaid time as necessary, or arrange such time through scheduling, or compensating time off, or shift exchange or shift rescheduling. An employee shall make every reasonable effort to minimize time away.
