Leave for supervisory position. Any employee offered a supervisory position by the Company, shall be granted a three (3) month “leave of absence” in order to assess their qualifications for such position. Employees on leave under this provision shall continue to pay their regular monthly dues/deductions. At the end of this ‘assessment period’ the employee can choose to return, or the employer can require the employee to return, to the bargaining unit with no loss of seniority. This “leave of absence” provision shall be restricted to one application by an employee during their employment career with the Company.
