Leave for supervisory position. Any employee offered a supervisory position by the Company shall be granted a three (3) month leave-of-absence in order to assess their qualifications for such position. Employees on leave under this provision shall continue to pay their regular monthly union dues/ deductions. At the end of this assessment period, the employee can choose to return, or the Company can require the employee to return, to the Bargaining Unit without loss of seniority. This leave-of-absence provision shall be restricted to one (1) application by an employee during their employment career with the Company.

Employees on leave under this provision shall continue to pay their regular monthly union dues/ dues/deductions. At the end of this ‘assessment period, ’ the employee can choose to return, or the Company employer can require the employee to return, to the Bargaining Unit without bargaining unit with no loss of seniority. This leave-of-absence “leave of absence” provision shall be restricted to one (1) two application by an employee during their employment career with the Company.
