Conditions of Continued Employment. The Company agrees that all employees now members of the Union and all employees who become members of the Union shall remain members in good standing of the Union while employed by the Company during the life of this Agreement as a condition of employment. The Union agrees to indemnify the Company for any expense or loss in which the Company may be involved in any case where an employee discharged by the Company at the Union’s written request under the terms of this Agreement, seeks redress by process of law.
Conditions of Continued Employment. All teachers employed by the Board shall, as a condition of continued employment, join the Association or pay a service fee to the Association. Said service fee shall be equal to the proportion of Association dues uniformly required of members to underwrite the costs of collective bargaining, contract administration, and grievance adjustment.

In the case of a teacher employed for less than half time, the teacher's fee shall be half the award of membership dues or half the agency fee.

All teachers employed by the Regional School District No. 17 Board of Education shall, as a condition of continued employment, join the Association or pay to the Association a service fee. Said service fee shall not exceed the amount of the membership dues of the Haddam- Killingworth Education Association, the Connecticut Education Association and the National Education Association, and shall be subject to the rebate procedure set forth herein.
Conditions of Continued Employment. All teachers employed by the Waterbury Board shall, as a condition of employment, join the WTA or pay a service fee to the WTA. Said service fee shall be not greater than the amount of dues uniformly required of members of the WTA which represents the costs of collective bargaining, contract administration and grievance adjustment. The WTA agrees to indemnify and hold the Board harmless against any liability which may arise by reason of any action taken by the Board in complying with the deduction of dues and service fees and for otherwise complying with this Article. The singular reference to the “WTA” herein shall be interpreted as referring to the WTA, the Connecticut Education Association, and the National Education Association.
