LEAVE OF ABSENCE DUE TO INJURY. (a) When an employee suffers an injury, whether on the job or not, or suffers any illness preventing him from reporting to work, he will automatically be granted leave of absence until such time as his doctor states he can return to work. (b) When any employee suffers an injury or illness which requires his absence, he shall report the fact to the Company as soon as possible, prior to his actual starting time, so that adequate replacement may be made if necessary.
