Leave of Absence to Vote. Pursuant to the provisions of the State Election Code, Unit Members who are registered voters shall be granted sufficient time off to vote in local, state and federal elections, not to exceed two (2) hours of time off with pay, if the voting time available outside of working hours is not sufficient to enable the Unit Member to vote. 15.12.1 Time off for voting shall be only at the beginning or end of the regular working shift, whichever allows the most free time for voting and the least time off from the regular working shift, unless otherwise mutually agreed by the Unit Member and the Immediate Management Supervisor. 15.12.2 The Unit Member shall notify the Immediate Management Supervisor not less than two (2) working days in advance that time off for voting is desired, unless the Unit Member did not reasonably know of the need for time off until later.
