LEAVE – PUBLIC OFFICE. Employees shall be granted an unpaid leave of absence to enable them to run for an elected public office if nominated, and if elected, to serve their term(s) of office. (Reference Article 34 - Leave - General.) This time limit shall not exceed five (5) years.
