LEAVES OF ABSENCE AND BEREAVEMENT PAY. 22.01 The Employer shall grant leaves of absence without pay for the following reasons: a. marriage of the employee; b. sickness of the employee or employee's immediate family; c. death in the immediate family; d. Union activity other than this establishment. Union sponsored courses, conference, or hearings; e. the birth, or adoption of an employee’s child. 22.02 Normally a personal leave of absence as described above shall not exceed one (1) week, unless a longer period of time is granted by the Employer.
