Leaves of Absence for Union Officers. In the event that the President of the Union or any other Union officer, while he is a full- time faculty member, shall become a full-time employee of the Union, he shall notify the Chancellor and shall be granted a leave of absence not to exceed two years without pay, for the purpose of accepting this position.
