UNION RECOGNITION AND DEFINITIONS. The Board of Trustees of Community College District No. 508 recognizes the Cook County College Teachers Union as the exclusive bargaining representative for all full-time faculty members and training specialists except Presidents, Deans, Vice Presidents, Assistant Deans, and employees of the Central Administration, who are not specifically covered by this Agreement or by separate agreements regarding salaries, fringe benefits, and working conditions. The term “faculty member,” or “teacher,” and the term “training specialists” as used in this Agreement means a person in the bargaining unit employed by the Board. Regardless of newly created or changed job titles, no positions in the bargaining unit shall be eliminated where there is no substantial change in job duties or responsibilities.
