Summary and background of the Legislation: This legislation enables the City of Seattle/Seattle City Light to enter a 5-year Interlocal Agreement with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians. To support ongoing development of a skilled workforce and cultural diversity in the community surrounding the Boundary Project, the City agrees to provide financial support for the Kalispel Career Training Center as authorized in the Interlocal Agreement. This legislation creates the funding mechanism between the City of Seattle/Seattle City Light and the Kalispel Tribe for development of a skilled and viable workforce within the tribe and local community.

AN ORDINANCE relating to the Department of Parks and Recreation; authorizing the execution of an agreement for a pilot project for Activation and Programming of Westlake Park and Occidental Square Park; and ratifying and confirming prior acts. Summary and background of the Legislation: This legislation authorizes the Superintendent of the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) to enter into an agreement to have DBIA Services to provide activation and programming at Occidental and Westlake parks.

AN ORDINANCE relating to the City Light Department; approving a 15-year franchise to construct, operate, maintain, replace, and repair an electrical light and power system in, across, over, along, under, through, and below certain designated public rights-of-way in the City of Lake Forest Park.
Legislation Title. AN ORDINANCE relating to Seattle Parks and Recreation; authorizing the Superintendent of Parks and Recreation to execute a five-year concession agreement with Xxxx Xxxxxxxxx, d/b/a Point of View Telescopes, to manage, maintain, and provide coin-operated telescopes at various City-owned park facilities. Summary and background of the Legislation: The proposed legislation authorizes the Superintendent of Seattle Parks and Recreation (Superintendent) to enter into a five-year concession agreement with Xxxx Xxxxxxxxx, D/B/A Point of View Telescopes (POV). Under the terms of this agreement, POV will manage, maintain and provide coin-operated telescopes at various park facilities. The proposed bill also authorizes options to extend the initial term of the agreement for two additional 5-year terms at the discretion of the Superintendent.

An ordinance relating to the Seattle Ethics and Elections Commission; authorizing the Executive Director to execute an agreement with the City of Xxxxxxxx for renewing an independent ethics program for the City of Xxxxxxxx; and ratifying and confirming certain prior acts. Summary and background of the Legislation: In 2011, the SEEC and the City of Xxxxxxxx entered into an agreement for the SEEC to provide ethics advice and investigations to Xxxxxxxx on an as-needed basis. Xxxxxxxx and the SEEC are interested in renewing the contract.

AN ORDINANCE relating to the provision of tenant relocation assistance to displaced tenants; establishing requirements for residential tenancies; establishing regulations about penalties and the issuance of building permits for violators of the Tenant Relocation Assistance Ordinance; amending Sections 7.24.030, 7.24.050, 10.09.085, 22.210.030, 22.210.140, 22.210.150, and 22.210.180 of the Seattle Municipal Code and adding a new Section 22.210.136; amending Section 106.6.3 of the 2012 Seattle Building Code; and amending Section R105.6.3 of the 2012 Seattle Residential Code.
