Length of Member Contract Year - School Calendar. 1. The Calendar Committee shall develop a school calendar(s) and shall forward said recommended calendar(s) to the Board by February 1 of each year. The Calendar Committee shall consist of one LPEA member, one support staff member, and one administrator. The Committee's task shall be to develop guidelines, develop contingency plans, and submit a calendar to the Board. Employees will be surveyed with data reported to the Board prior to the calendar being developed. A representative of the committee will present the proposed calendar to the Board to explain the committee's recommendation and answer questions. If a calendar is not submitted by February 1, the Board will develop its own calendar.
