Level Four - Appeal To The Board Of Trustees. 6.6.1 The aggrieved employee may appeal to the Board of Trustees within five (5) days from the receipt of the decision of the Superintendent. Documents related to the appeal shall be submitted to the Board of Trustees at least five (5) days prior to the next regularly-scheduled Board meeting. At that regularly-scheduled Board meeting the employee shall have the opportunity to speak to the Board of Trustees in a closed session regarding the appeal. The Board of Trustees will render a decision by the next regularly-scheduled Board meeting, if possible, utilizing other special meetings as necessary. The President of the Board of Trustees shall communicate, in writing, the decision and rationale of the Board of Trustees within five (5) days following that regularly- scheduled Board meeting to the grievant and the Association.
