Librarians Personnel Committee. Each year the librarians in the bargaining unit shall elect a Librarians Personnel Committee (LPC), for the purpose of making recommendations to the Xxxx of Libraries (DOL) in personnel actions as set forth herein. This committee shall serve from July 1 through June 30 and the DOL shall be notified by July 1 of the members elected to serve. The LPC shall meet as necessary to fulfill its responsibilities set forth in this Agreement.

Librarians Personnel Committee. Each year the librarians in the bargaining unit on each campus shall elect a Librarians Personnel Committee (LPC), for the purpose of making recommendations to the Xxxx of Libraries (DOL) in personnel actions as set forth herein. This committee shall serve from July 1 through June 30 and the DOL shall be notified by July 1 of the members elected to serve. The LPC shall meet as necessary to fulfill its responsibilities set forth in this Agreement. In addition, the LPC may make recommendations for sabbatical leaves and, pursuant to Subsection 20.5.2 recommendations for initial appointments and for the number of years of credit for prior experience that should be granted toward rank upon a librarian's initial appointment and toward eligibility for a continuing appointment. Neither these recommendations nor decisions counter to them shall be grievable.
Librarians Personnel Committee. 16.1.1.6 Equity The LPC must include a representative of at least one of the equity groups listed in 17.1.6.1.

  • LABOR/MANAGEMENT COMMITTEES Section 1. Labor/Management Committees The parties recognize that the holding of periodic meetings for the exchange of views and information contributes to the effectiveness of the labor/management relationship. Therefore, the parties shall establish Labor/Management Committees (LMC), in accordance with the provisions in this Article, for the purpose of addressing matters of concern in the areas of personnel policies, practices, conditions of employment, and other matters affecting employees.   • SCHOOL STAFF COMMITTEES 1. If the majority of the teaching staff in the school so decide, there shall be established a recognized staff committee in that school.

  • Joint Labor/Management Committees Purpose and Membership. Joint Labor/Management Committees are established to provide a forum for communications and problem-solving between the two parties and to deal with matters of a general personnel Union/Employer concern, as well as professional practices within the hospital related to patient care and professional issues. The Committees will work toward the improvement of patient care and recommend ways and means to improve patient care; and will address problems and concerns related to staffing and workloads. The Committees’ function will be limited to an advisory capacity and shall not include any decision making or collective bargaining authority. Committee memberships:

  • EMPLOYEE-MANAGEMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE 33.01 (a) An Employee-Management Advisory Committee (EMAC) shall be established within three (3) months of the signing of the Collective Agreement. The Union Representative shall provide the names of up to three (3) elected Employees and the Employer shall provide the names of up to three (3) appointed representatives to sit on the EMAC.

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour-Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply.

  • Labour Management Relations Committee 20.01 The parties recognize that a forum for ongoing discussions during the term of the Agreement can promote more harmonious labour relations between them.

  • MINISTRY/SCHOOL BOARD INITIATIVES ETFO will be an active participant in the consultation process to develop a Ministry of Education PPM regarding Ministry/School Board Initiatives.

  • JOINT LABOUR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE 18.01 A Joint Labour Management Committee shall be established to attend to those matters which are of mutual interest. To ensure its effectiveness the Committee shall be separate and apart from the grievance procedure.

  • APPRENTICESHIP COMMITTEE The central parties agree that within sixty (60) days of the commencement of this agreement, a joint local committee consisting of up to three representatives each will be formed to discuss the feasibility of establishing an apprenticeship program(s). If such a program is deemed feasible, the local parties will determine the terms and conditions of such program(s). The joint local committee will seek the availability of any federal or provincial funds to cover the costs of such programs.

  • Staffing Committee A. Responsibilities. The Nurse Staffing Committee (“NSC”) shall be responsible for determining the Institute’s staffing plan and resolving complaints raised by nurses regarding the implementation of the plan as well as those activities required of it under RCW 70.41, et seq and its successors.
