Lighting and Small Power. The following Lighting and Small Power works is applicable but not limited to: The illumination levels used are those recommended by 240-55714363: Coal Fired Power Stations Lighting and Small Power Installation Standard and SANS 10114-1: Interior lighting. a. These recommendations are specified as law under the South African National Building Regulations. b. Emergency lighting shall be according to 240-55714363: Coal Fired Power Stations Lighting And Small Power Installation Standard and SANS 10114-1: Interior lighting. c. The Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act) specifies minimum illumination levels for safety. At no time shall the illumination level fall below these recommendations.
