Limitation on Hours Worked Sample Clauses

Limitation on Hours Worked. No permanent or probationary or limited term employee may be employed in one or more positions, full-time or part-time, more than a total of 40 hours per week, except for authorized overtime, unless authorized by the Court. Nothing in this section shall preclude an employee from temporarily serving in another capacity in the event of an emergency, provided he has the approval of his manager.

Limitation on Hours Worked. Full-time shift personnel shall not be scheduled for more than 72 hours of shift work in a row without a 24-hour rest period. Exceptions to this rule will only be made with prior advance approval of the Fire Chief.
