Authorized Overtime definition

Authorized Overtime means overtime authorized by the Employer and where the term “overtime” is used in this Agreement, it shall mean “authorized overtime”;
Authorized Overtime means overtime authorized in advance and in writing, where reasonably possible, by a director, manager or supervisor.
Authorized Overtime means: (a) Overtime authorized in advance coordinated through the employee’s supervisor and approval secured in writing from his or her supervisor, or (b) Incurred in the event of a child protection emergency in which case the employee will immediately notify his or her immediate supervisor. (c) Overtime will not be authorized for employees to attend a function or event outside of the employee’s regular work day and/or work week unless the process in (a) above is followed and, in considering the request for overtime to e authorized, the employee’s supervisor and Director are satisfied that the employee’s work day and/or work week schedule cannot be modified in a manner that would allow the employee to attend the function or event without the necessity of working overtime hours. Where the term “overtime” is used in this Agreement it shall mean “Authorized Overtime”.

  • Those telephone calls must be work-related and certified by the Officer called and submitted on an Authorized Overtime Form.


More Definitions of Authorized Overtime

Authorized Overtime means: (a) Overtime authorized in advance coordinated through the Employee’s supervisor and approval secured in writing from his or her manager, or (b) Incurred in the event of a child protection emergency in which case the Employee will immediately notify his or her immediate supervisor. (c) When requested to attend a function or event outside of the regular work day and/or work week.
Authorized Overtime means additional paid working time in excess of average monthly ordinary hours and/or time in lieu hours, which has been authorized in advance and in writing by a relevant manager.
