Common use of Local 6070 Bargaining Clause in Contracts

Local 6070 Bargaining. Unit Member who accepts a University assignment outside of the bargaining unit may return or be returned to the bargaining unit within six (6) months and keep the seniority they held prior to leaving the bargaining unit under the following conditions: 1. No Local 6070 Bargaining Unit Member is displaced by the return. 2. The returning member shall be placed on the same scale step they held prior to the promotion regardless of the classification assigned upon return.
