Stolen or Damaged Property. A. Bargaining unit members shall not be responsible for stolen, lost or damaged property except where there is cause to suspect negligence or deliberate act. This shall include the use of credit cards or any other method of credit. In cases of bargaining unit members who are continuing their employment, no deduction in pay shall be made without ten (10) working days notice. If the bargaining unit members dispute the matter through the grievance or complaint procedure as applicable within the ten (10) working days notice, no deduction will be made until the dispute process has been completed. B. In cases of separating bargaining unit members or seasonal bargaining unit members leaving at the end of a season, the Employer may withhold from the final paycheck the value of the lost or damaged property and may do so pending completion of the applicable dispute process. C. This Section is not intended to preclude disciplinary action or provide for a time frame for the action except as otherwise provided in this Agreement.

This will include the use of credit cards for any purpose or any other method of credit. In cases of Bargaining Unit Members who are continuing their employment, no deduction in pay will result until a period of thirty (30) working days from notice. If the Bargaining Unit Member disputes the matter through the grievance or complaint procedure within thirty (30) working days from notice, no action will be taken until the grievance or complaint has been resolved.

  • DAMAGE OR DESTRUCTION OF PREMISES If, in our opinion, your Bedroom should become unavailable or unlivable during the Lease Term because of damage or destruction by fire or other casualty, we shall have the right to terminate this Lease, or move you to similar accommodations within the Community and repair and restore your Bedroom. In the event of such damage or destruction to your Bedroom your obligations to pay Rent will be waived only if we terminate this Lease, or do not furnish you with a bedroom within the Community or reasonably similar accommodation.
