Local Planning Policy Framework. The parts of the Mount Alexander MSS that pertain to settlement and management for growth are heavily based on the Mount Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxx Living Strategy, 2004. Although the MSS has been subject to periodical review and superficial update, its basis remains with the strategic research that was carried out in 2002-2004 as part of the preparation of the Urban Living Strategy. The MSS identifies the Shire’s “sea change” trend that is generating population growth and increased housing demand, particularly in and around Castlemaine. However these population projections pre-date State government initiatives aimed to promote growth in regional Victoria. As part of the Regional Plans initiative, Castlemaine has been identified in the State Planning Policy Framework within every Victorian planning scheme as a regional growth centre where growth should be supported. This State- wide planning initiative has not yet been articulated into the Mount Alexander MSS. We submit that implementation of the CCCC growth model is being hampered, as set out above. Further, high heritage value is constraining and limiting plans for infill and/or redevelopment in existing urban areas. The heritage and landscape values of the notable and extensive Castlemaine Diggings National Heritage Park and surrounds will constrain plans to expand Castlemaine towards the Calder corridor. To this end, a rezoning of the subject land will add to a greater housing choice within greater Castlemaine and the municipality, which is needed.

  • Procurement Planning Prior to the issuance of any invitations to bid for contracts, the proposed procurement plan for the Project shall be furnished to the Association for its review and approval, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of Appendix 1 to the Guidelines. Procurement of all goods and works shall be undertaken in accordance with such procurement plan as shall have been approved by the Association, and with the provisions of said paragraph 1.

  • Business Continuity Planning Supplier shall prepare and maintain at no additional cost to Buyer a Business Continuity Plan (“BCP”). Upon written request of Buyer, Supplier shall provide a copy of Supplier’s BCP. The BCP shall be designed to ensure that Supplier can continue to provide the goods and/or services in accordance with this Order in the event of a disaster or other BCP-triggering event (as such events are defined in the applicable BCP). Supplier’s BCP shall, at a minimum, provide for: (a) the retention and retrieval of data and files; (b) obtaining resources necessary for recovery, (c) appropriate continuity plans to maintain adequate levels of staffing required to provide the goods and services during a disruptive event; (d) procedures to activate an immediate, orderly response to emergency situations; (e) procedures to address potential disruptions to Supplier’s supply chain; (f) a defined escalation process for notification of Buyer, within two (2) business days, in the event of a BCP-triggering event; and (g) training for key Supplier Personnel who are responsible for monitoring and maintaining Supplier’s continuity plans and records. Supplier shall maintain the BCP and test it at least annually or whenever there are material changes in Supplier’s operations, risks or business practices. Upon Xxxxx’s written and reasonable request, Supplier shall provide Buyer an executive summary of test results and a report of corrective actions (including the timing for implementation) to be taken to remedy any deficiencies identified by such testing. Upon Xxxxx’s request and with reasonable advance notice and conducted in such a manner as not to unduly interfere with Supplier’s operations, Supplier shall give Buyer and its designated agents access to Supplier’s designated representative(s) with detailed functional knowledge of Supplier’s BCP and relevant subject matter.

  • Summary of Policy and Prohibitions on Procurement Lobbying Pursuant to State Finance Law §139-j and §139-k, this Contract includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between OGS and a Vendor during the procurement process. A Vendor is restricted from making contacts from the earliest notice of intent to solicit offers/bids through final award and approval of the Procurement Contract by OGS and, if applicable, the Office of the State Comptroller (“restricted period”) to other than designated staff unless it is a contact that is included among certain statutory exceptions set forth in State Finance Law §139-j(3)(a).
