Local Workforce Participation. Tenant shall cause its general contractor to comply with Section 31-40 of the City Code which provides, in pertinent part, that the contractor in any construction contract valued in excess of $1,500,000 for the construction of buildings or improvements on City-owned land shall make of reasonable efforts to promote employment opportunities for local Miami-Dade County residents and seek to achieve a project goal of having thirty percent (30%) of all construction labor hours performed by Miami-Dade County and City of Miami Beach residents and as further described in the Development Agreement.   • Employee Participation The Employer will assist employees' participation in health promotion and health education programs. Health promotion and health education programs that have been endorsed by the Employer (Minnesota Management & Budget) will be considered to be non-assigned job-related training pursuant to Administrative Procedure 21. Approval for this training is at the discretion of the Appointing Authority and is contingent upon meeting staffing needs in the employee's absence and the availability of funds. Employees are eligible for release time, tuition reimbursement, or a pro rata combination of both. Employees may be reimbursed for up to one hundred (100) percent of tuition or registration costs upon successful completion of the program. Employees may be granted release time, including the travel time, in lieu of reimbursement.

  • Voluntary Participation The Grantee’s participation in the Plan is voluntary. The value of the Restricted Stock Units is an extraordinary item of compensation. Unless otherwise expressly provided in a separate agreement between the Grantee and the Company or a Subsidiary, the Restricted Stock Units are not part of normal or expected compensation for purposes of calculating any severance, resignation, redundancy, end-of-service payments, bonuses, long-service awards, pension or retirement benefits or similar payments.
