Common use of Long Term Absent Employees Clause in Contracts

Long Term Absent Employees. Employees whom have been absent from work due to Long Term Disability or WSIB for twelve (12) consecutive months shall not be paid vacation pay. When the employee is able to return to work they shall resume their vacation entitlement with the appropriate adjusted service date given credit for time absent as if the employee had worked.
