Long Term Acting Pay. An individual shall receive acting pay in addition to the supplement provided for in the Senior Officers' allowance when they are appointed to an acting position for an extensive period of time. Payment for such acting periods will commence only after two weeks of continuous acting has been completed, is effective only from the date two weeks after the assignment commenced, and will continue for the duration of the acting appointment. This takes into recognition the intent of the component of the Senior Officers' allowance that there be no acting pay for normal acting assignments, that being illness, vacation, etc. (normally over a short duration). In the case where there is no incumbent in the acting rank assignment or when the acting rank assignment issued by a routine order is for an indefinite period of time an individual shall receive acting pay in addition to the supplement provided for in the Senior Officers' allowance. Payment for such acting periods will commence on the first day of these acting appointment and will continue for the duration of the acting appointment. Individuals will be reimbursed on the basis of either a five per cent increase against their current salary, or a move to the first step of the range in the position in which they are occupying, whichever is the greatest. Absence(s) on authorized leaves shall not break the period of the continuous long term acting rank assignment for the purposes of this Article.

  • Contract Term Adjustment “Contract Term Adjustment” means adjustment only as provided for in the three circumstances described in this Subsection.   • Employees on Long Term Supply Assignments Employees completing long term supply assignments may only access sick leave and short term disability leave in the fiscal year in which the allocation was provided. Any remaining allocation may be used in subsequent long term supply assignments, provided these occur within the same fiscal year. Employees employed in a Long Term Supply Assignment which is less than the ordinary period of employment for the position shall have their sick leave and short term disability allocations pro-rated accordingly. Where the length of the long term supply assignment is not known in advance, a projected length must be determined at the start of the assignment in order for the appropriate allocation of sick leave/short term disability leave to occur. If a change is made to the length of the assignment, an adjustment will be made to the allocation and applied retroactively.

  • NOTICE TO EMPLOYEES REGARDING THE FEDERAL EARNED INCOME CREDIT The Contractor shall notify its employees, and shall require each subcontractor to notify its employees, that they may be eligible for the Federal Earned Income Credit under the federal income tax laws. Such notice shall be provided in accordance with the requirements set forth in Internal Revenue Service Notice No. 1015.

  • Long-Term Incentive Plans During the Employment Period, the Executive shall be eligible to participate in any long term incentive compensation plan maintained by the Company on the terms established from time to time by the Board or the Compensation Committee of the Board, as applicable.
