LONG-TERM LEAVE OF ABSENCE WITHOUT PAY. ‌ A teacher may be granted leave of absence without pay for a period of up to fourteen (14) consecutive months. A teacher’s application for such leave shall be submitted in writing to the Board four (4) months prior to the date when the leave is to commence. The Board shall notify a teacher within six (6) weeks of the final day for application.
