Long Term Substitute Pay. Teachers employed as a substitute with an assignment to one (1) specified teaching position shall be paid at the daily substitute rate determined in Article IX, P., for the first thirty (30) days of their long-term assignment. After said number of days in one (1) assignment, Long Term Substitutes shall be placed on the Teacher Salary Index Schedule in accordance with Article XIV, C., 2., a. through Article XIV., C., 2., i., with an experience level from BS + 0 to BS + 5 years maximum, depending upon years of experience.

  • Long Term Substitute A substitute who remains in a single assignment of forty-five (45) or more consecutive workdays.

  • Long-Term Substitute Teachers Long-term substitute teachers who teach continuously for more than thirty (30) days on the same assignment (replacing one individual teacher) shall be paid according to their appropriate lane and step on the Teacher’s Salary Schedule. The maximum experience credit shall be based on the guidelines set forth in Article VIII, Section 1, Subd. 1. This provision is not retroactive.

  • Long-Term Substitutes Long-term substitutes are defined as teachers hired to fill the temporary vacancy of a teacher on leave in the same assignment for more than sixty (60) days. The employment of long-term substitutes shall automatically expire at the end of the period of substitution or upon return to duty of the teacher from an approved leave of absence without any action by the Board or further notice to the teacher.

  • Long Term Leave Any employee who declines a reappointment as a Teaching Assistant in order to interrupt his/her program of graduate study for a period not to exceed one (1) year will not jeopardize his/her consideration for reappointment under Article l3.03.

  • Long Term Leaves a. A unit member may be granted a leave of absence, with or without pay, by the Board of Education upon recommendation of the Superintendent or designee for a period not to exceed one (1) year when such action is not contrary to the best interests of the District.

  • LONG TERM AGREEMENT If the Contractor is engaged by UNDP on the basis of a long-term agreement (“LTA”) as indicated in the Face Sheet of this Contract, the following conditions shall apply:

  • Contract Term Adjustment “Contract Term Adjustment” means adjustment only as provided for in the three circumstances described in this Subsection. Under these circumstances, the contract term shall be adjusted in writing to include additional calendar days in one or more Normal Operating Seasons equal to the actual time lost, except as limited by paragraph (b) in this Subsection. To qualify for such adjustment, Purchaser shall give written notice of the lost time not later than 30 days after end of Normal Operating Season in which time was lost and at least 10 days before Termination Date. Contracting Officer shall make prompt written acknowledgment of such notice, indicating concurrence with the number of days in the notice or the number of days Forest Service considers as qualifying for the adjustment. Lost portions of days shall be disregarded in computing time lost. The three circumstances qualifying for a Contract Term Adjustment are:

  • Long Term Leave of Absence The District may grant any employee an unpaid long-term leave of absence for up to one (1) year for study, child rearing, travel, medical, or other mutually agreed to reason(s). Upon Board approval leave may be extended an additional year. Employees granted such a leave shall be permitted to stay on the District insurance programs at their own expense (carriers permitting), shall not gain or lose seniority or other benefits, but shall not be granted advancement credit on the salary schedule for the period of the leave. Upon return from such leave, the employee shall be entitled to the same position or a position substantially equivalent to the position held prior to the leave.

  • Long Term Disability (LTD 4.7.1 The school board shall cooperate in the administration of the LTD Plan. It is understood that administration means that the school board will co-operate with the enrolment and deduction of premiums and provide available necessary data to the insurer, upon request. The school board will remit premiums collected to the carrier on behalf of the teachers.

  • Long Term Care The City may offer an option for employees to purchase a new long-term care benefit for themselves and certain family members.
