Common use of Loss of Seniority and Termination Clause in Contracts

Loss of Seniority and Termination. An auxiliary employee will lose his seniority when: (a) he is dismissed for just cause; (b) he voluntarily terminates or abandons his position; (c) he is on layoff for more than one year; (d) he refuses more than three calls within any three month period unless the Employer has approved a leave for the relevant time period.
