LSP Scholar Academic and Personal Support. Academic Progress Summer term requests Three Cohort 1 AASTMT students requested to take a summer term to be able to graduate on time for their scholarship grant. For two students, the delay was caused by failed courses. As for the third student, it was due to missing an academic semester for being in detention. The three requests have been approved. Four Cohort 2 AUC students requested to take a summer term. One was rejected, two were approved to support Engineering students to graduate on time and the fourth was approved to support the student’s transfer and his new graduation plan1. Cohort 1 - Academic Year Three and Cohort 2 - Academic Year Two The academic year for LSP cohorts 1 and 2 students commenced on September 2 for AUC students, on September 15 for AASTMT students, and on September 22 for BUE students. Several AASTMT students requested to change their specializations under the same field of study. LSP Scholar Academic and Personal Support. Bridge Year Program (BYP) Upon successful admission to the program, students started the Bridge Year Program (BYP) at the American University in Cairo (AUC). The BYP gives a total of 720 instruction hours over the program duration (December 15, 2015- June 22, 2016). AUC was selected to provide a program that is best tailored to the needs of LSP students and to equip them with the language proficiency and life skills needed to excel in their university life. Bridge Year Program Assessment AUC adopts a student assessment approach that combines both formative and summative assessments resulting in reflective monitoring. The overall program assessment is based on the Xxxxxxxxxxx model for evaluation of training using two types of evaluation instruments: Level 1 measures the satisfaction of participants with the training program; Level 2 focuses on how much the participants have learned and to what extent have the training program objectives been achieved.

Few BUE and AASTMT students requested to change their fields of study. Their requests were thoroughly reviewed and it was deemed unfeasible to honor their requests. The Academic Team discussed each request with the concerned student and gave guidance on how to overcome challenges at a specific university or field of study. The program team will continue to follow up on these students to provide support as needed. One AUC Engineering student requested to change his field of study to Business Administration. The university confirmed that the transfer will not result in any wasted credits and that all earned credits will be successfully transferred towards his new field of study. Accordingly the program approved his request. Four AUC students requested to take a summer term. One was rejected, two were approved to support Engineering students to graduate on time and the fourth was approved to support the transfer student’s new graduation plan. They started their summer term on June 3, 2018. Special and Follow-up Cases - Two Cohort 2 AUC students were engaged in a cyber piracy incident. The students reported to the incident to AUC administration through the official channels and it is still under investigation. - In cooperation with AASTMT, Cohort 2 student with Leukemia successfully continued his semester. Towards mid semester, he requested to withdraw a course to lessen his academic load. His request was approved to support his medical case.

  • ONLINE LINGUISTIC SUPPORT 6.1. The participant must carry out the OLS language assessment before and at the end of the mobility period. The completion of the online assessment before departure is a pre-requisite for the mobility, except in duly justified cases.

  • Restricted Use By Outsourcers / Facilities Management, Service Bureaus or Other Third Parties Outsourcers, facilities management or service bureaus retained by Licensee shall have the right to use the Product to maintain Licensee’s business operations, including data processing, for the time period that they are engaged in such activities, provided that: 1) Licensee gives notice to Contractor of such party, site of intended use of the Product, and means of access; and 2) such party has executed, or agrees to execute, the Product manufacturer’s standard nondisclosure or restricted use agreement which executed agreement shall be accepted by the Contractor (“Non-Disclosure Agreement”); and 3) if such party is engaged in the business of facility management, outsourcing, service bureau or other services, such third party will maintain a logical or physical partition within its computer system so as to restrict use and access to the program to that portion solely dedicated to beneficial use for Licensee. In no event shall Licensee assume any liability for third party’s compliance with the terms of the Non-Disclosure Agreement, nor shall the Non-Disclosure Agreement create or impose any liabilities on the State or Licensee. Any third party with whom a Licensee has a relationship for a state function or business operation, shall have the temporary right to use Product (e.g., JAVA Applets), provided that such use shall be limited to the time period during which the third party is using the Product for the function or business activity.

  • CONTRACTOR STAFF WITHIN AUTHORIZED USER AGREEMENT The provisions of this section shall apply unless otherwise agreed in the Authorized User Agreement. All employees of the Contractor, or of its Subcontractors, who shall perform under an Authorized User Agreement, shall possess the necessary qualifications, training, licenses, and permits as may be required within the jurisdiction where the Services specified are to be provided or performed, and shall be legally entitled to work in such jurisdiction.   • Access to Personal Information by Subcontractors Supplier agrees to require any subcontractors or agents to which it discloses Personal Information under this Agreement or under any SOW to provide reasonable assurance, evidenced by written contract, that they will comply with the same or substantially similar confidentiality, privacy and security obligations with respect to such Personal Information as apply to Supplier under this Agreement or any SOW. Supplier shall confirm in writing to DXC that such contract is in place as a condition to DXC’s approval of use of a subcontractor in connection with any SOW. Upon request of DXC, Supplier will provide to DXC a copy of the subcontract or an extract of the relevant clauses. Supplier shall ensure that any failure on the part of any subcontractor or agent to comply with the Supplier obligations under this Agreement or any SOW shall be grounds to promptly terminate such subcontractor or agent. If during the term of this Agreement or any SOW, DXC determines, in its exclusive discretion, that any Supplier subcontractor or agent cannot comply with the Supplier obligations under this Agreement or with any SOW, then DXC may terminate this Agreement in whole or in part (with respect to any SOW for which such subcontractor or agent is providing services), if not cured by Supplier within the time prescribed in the notice of such deficiency.

  • Authorized User Overview and Mini-Bid Process Project Based IT Consulting Services Contracts enable Authorized Users to use a competitive Mini-bid Process to acquire Services on an as-needed basis, for qualified IT Projects. Project Based IT Consulting Services may include, but will not be limited to projects requiring: analysis, data classification, design, development, testing, quality assurance, security and associated training for Information Technology based applications. See section 1.3 Out of Scope Work for a listing of projects expressly excluded from the scope of this Contract. An Authorized User Agreement for Project Based IT Consulting Services will be governed first by the terms and conditions specified in the OGS Centralized Contract and second by terms and conditions added to the Authorized User Statement of Work. Additional terms and conditions shall not conflict with or modify the terms and conditions of the OGS Centralized Contract.
