Maintenance of Union Membership. (a) All employees in the bargaining unit who are members of the Union as of March 14th, 1986 shall maintain membership in the Union and all new bargaining unit employees hired on or after March 14th, 1986 shall as a condition of employment become members of the Union and maintain such membership.
