Matjhabeng Local Municipality. The Scope of Work entails the following the Refurbishment & Upgrading of sanitation infrastructures that will cover the following: x The are eleven (11) Wastewater Treatment Works, only two (2) of which are fully operational and nine (9) requires refurbishment or upgrading. x The are fifty-seven (57) Sewer Pump Stations, and fifty-two (52) of which require immediate repair: and x There is total of twenty-five (25) areas or locations that covers a total distance of one thousand five hundred and forty-three kilometers (1,543 km) of sewer pipelines with various blockages and sewer spillages. Budget and prioritization of Projects The Programme had over seventy-eight (78) projects with an estimated budget of R2,5 billion and will call for fifty-nine (59) Contractors that should be implemented for the next four (4) years. The current total appointment is R626 million for both six (6) Sewer Network Contractors R314 million, two (2) Wastewater Treatment Works for a total of R240 million and (8) Pumpstations Contractors for R71,6 million. It should be noted that there will be additional appointments for an additional eighteen (18) Pumpstations will further increase the commitment from the current R626 million. The Municipality has further requested that the Department approve the procurement of the additional three (3) Sewer Network Contractors with an additional R149 million. Projected Cash Flow Year 2: 2023/2024- Budget: R80 million (under review) and Expenditure to date: R217 million The current Appointments: Total = R626 million for 14 Contractors and is divided as follows: x R314 million for Network- for the initial six (6) x Sewer network Contractors x R71,6 million for 8 Contractors of the eight (8) x Pumpstations x Recent Appointments made in September: two (2) x WWTWs = R240 million x Tenders at Procurement Stage: three (3) x Sewer Networks and eighteen (18) x Pumpstations The approved budget for 2023/2024 is R80 million and that had prompted the prioritization of the projects that was conducted on 30 May 2023 with Matjhabeng Local Municipality and the Department of Water and Sanitation Region Office as follows: x Year 1 (2022/23 Sept 2022 to Apr 2023) the procurement of the PSPs was activated and the procurement for the contractors commenced. x Year 2 (2023/24) an average of twenty-nine (29) projects are to be activated xxxxx the priority and implementation plan. To the extent that CLEC has such an Embedded Base, CLEC shall only augment trunk groups in the Embedded Base with the mutual agreement of the Parties. CLEC shall not order any new one-way trunk groups following the Effective Date of this Agreement. Moreover, the Parties agree that the Embedded Base will be converted to two-way trunk groups under the following circumstances:

  • Indigenous Peoples 8. The Borrower shall cause the Project Executing Agencies to ensure that the Project does not have any indigenous peoples impact, all within the meaning of the SPS. In the event the Project does have such impact, each Project Executing Agency shall take all steps required to ensure that the Project complies with all applicable laws and regulations of the Borrower and with the SPS.

  • STATE MEAL MANDATE When CONTRACTOR is a nonpublic school, CONTRACTOR and LEA shall satisfy the State Meal Mandate under California Education Code sections 49530, 49530.5 and 49550.
