Common use of Meal and Incidental Allowance Clause in Contracts

Meal and Incidental Allowance. A meal and incidental allowance will be allowed a bargaining unit member who is on travel status within the State of Alaska in accord with Section 60.220 of the Alaska Administrative Manual. In no event shall the short-term rate be less than forty-two dollars ($42) per day, consisting of nine dollars ($9) for breakfast, eleven dollars ($11) for lunch, and twenty-two dollars ($22) for dinner.
