Common use of Meal Clause in Contracts

Meal. 25.1 In the event an employee is required to work more than two (2) hours overtime following a regular shift and for each additional five (5) hours of overtime he/she shall be provided or reimbursed $15.00 for a meal by the CITY and be given a reasonable amount of time to eat the meal. Payment will be taxable and included in the employee’s biweekly payroll check.
