Meaning of Department. As used in this contract “Department” means any of the following: the Prosecuting Attorney; the Register of Deeds; the County Clerk, the County Treasurer; the Drain Commissioner (which includes building inspection); Co-Op Extension; the Public Defender; the Department of Veteran’s Affairs; the Equalization Department; the Finance Department; and Building and Grounds.

This provision shall not limit the Department’s termination rights.

  • STATE MEAL MANDATE When CONTRACTOR is a nonpublic school, CONTRACTOR and LEA shall satisfy the State Meal Mandate under California Education Code sections 49530, 49530.5 and 49550.

  • National Treatment and Most Favoured Nation 1. For all matters relating to the treatment of investments of investors of either Contracting Party shall enjoy, in the territory of the other party, of national treatment and most-favoured-nation treatment.

  • National Treatment on Internal Taxation and Regulation Each Party shall accord national treatment to the goods of the other Parties in accordance with Article III of GATT 1994. To this end, Article III of GATT 1994 shall be incorporated into and shall form part of this Agreement, mutatis mutandis.
