AWARDING OF POSITIONS. In vacancies other than provided for under 19.02, part-time to full-time and full-time to part- time the following factors shall be considered:
AWARDING OF POSITIONS. All posted positions shall be awarded to the departmental employee ranking highest on the seniority list that applies and possesses the minimum qualifications. If no departmental employee applies or is qualified, employees within the bargaining unit will be considered for the vacant position provided they apply within the posting period. Said consideration will be given prior to advertising outside. An employee who is promoted to another classification or transferred will be given a reasonable trial period, but not to exceed ninety (90) days to demonstrate in actual work performance whether he has the ability to perform the work. If he does not have the ability to perform the work, he will be returned to the position from which he was promoted and given written notice of the reason. A copy of the notice will be sent to the employee’s xxxxxxx.
AWARDING OF POSITIONS. All such vacancies shall, as determined by management, be filled by awarding the position to the most senior qualified employee who bids for that position and has not been awarded a position within the last six (6) months. Employees will be transferred or promoted in accordance with their seniority, provided they have the necessary ability and experience and can meet the job description requirements. For purposes of this Article, “seniority” shall mean Employer Seniority accrued at this unit.
AWARDING OF POSITIONS. Positions will be awarded on the basis of qualifications and seniority (see Section 47.5). In such cases where qualifications are equal, Tour Seniority will be the determining factor. Employees on approved leaves of absence shall not be considered unqualified because of their leave. If the most senior qualified driver is on an approved leave, regardless of when the leave started, the position shall be filled by the next most senior qualified driver who bid on the position until the most senior qualified driver returns from leave.
AWARDING OF POSITIONS. In promotions, demotions, transfers, layoff and recall, the following factors shall be considered:
AWARDING OF POSITIONS. 16.10.01 All permanent/temporary positions will be filled in accordance with seniority provided that all minimum qualifications and performance requirements are met. If no applications are received from such Flight Attendants, the Company may (at its discretion) assign the most junior Flight Attendant or hire a new Flight Attendant.

AWARDING OF POSITIONS. Section 1 [25] Employees shall remain in an assignment until a vacancy occurs in another. Vacancies will be posted and awarded to the most senior qualified employee. The position vacated by the most senior qualified employee will also be posted and filled as was the first vacancy. Any additional vacancies will be filled with a new hire. [26] [Issue 6] Section 2 [27] A person who is awarded a higher position, in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement, shall receive the full hourly rate set forth in this Agreement. All such appointments to higher positions shall be for a probationary 90 working day period, during which time the appointee's progress shall be reviewed and evaluated by the supervisory staff, including contractors and/or consultants hired by the Board in its discretion or the Director of Personnel and Labor Relations. During this probationary period, if the appointee's performance on the job does not meet the standards for the position as set forth in the job description, the supervisory staff, including contractors and/or consultants hired by the Board in its discretion shall recommend to the superintendent of schools that the appointee be rejected from the position and returned to a position similar to that he/she held prior to the position that he/she was rejected from. Written notification of the employee’s status shall be provided to the Union at the conclusion of the probationary period.
AWARDING OF POSITIONS. The "Galley" positions will be awarded in order of seniority.
AWARDING OF POSITIONS. 9.5.1 All permanent or temporary positions shall be filled in accordance with seniority, provided that all minimum qualifications, performance requirements and aircraft type specific qualifications are met for that base. If no applications are received, the Company may at its discretion assign the most junior Pilot on the PSL or hire a new Pilot. Base qualifications requirements that require a temporary position(s) shall be no longer than six (6) months in duration.
