MEASUREMENT OF WATER. (a) All water diverted by the Contractor from the Sacramento River will be 8 diverted at the existing point or points of diversion shown on Exhibit A or at such other points as 9 may be mutually agreed upon in writing by the Contracting Officer and the Contractor.
MEASUREMENT OF WATER. (a) All water diverted by the Contractor from the Sacramento River will be 14 diverted at the existing point or points of diversion shown on Exhibit A or at such other points as 15 may be mutually agreed upon in writing by the Contracting Officer and the Contractor.
(b) All water diverted from the Sacramento River pursuant to this Settlement 17 Contract will be measured or caused to be measured by the United States at each point of 18 diversion with existing equipment or equipment to be installed, operated, and maintained by the 19 United States, and/or others, under contract with and at the option of the United States. The 20 equipment and methods used to make such measurement shall be in accordance with sound 21 engineering practices. Upon request of the Contractor, the accuracy of such measurements will 22 be investigated by the Contracting Officer and any errors appearing therein will be corrected.
MEASUREMENT OF WATER. A. The parties recognize that continuous and accurate measurement of water deliveries to and from the Regional Water System and maintenance of complete and accurate records of those measurements is necessary (1) for the costs of the Regional Water System to be allocated in accordance with this Agreement, (2) for implementation of other provisions of this Agreement, and (3) for effective operation and maintenance of a water system serving a large urbanized region.
B. It is the responsibility of the SFPUC to obtain and record these measurements. To do so, the SFPUC shall install, maintain and operate measuring and recording equipment at the following locations: (1) inputs to the Regional Water System from all water sources (“System Input Meters”), (2) internal flow meters to support operation of the Regional Water System (“In- Line Meters”), (3) deliveries to the City at the San Francisco-San Mateo County line (“County- Line Meters”) and to three reservoirs in San Francisco (“In-City Terminal Reservoir Meters”),
MEASUREMENT OF WATER. (a) All water diverted by the Contractor from its Source of Supply will 11 be diverted at the existing point or points of diversion shown on Exhibit A or at such 12 other points as may be mutually agreed upon in writing by the Contracting Officer and 13 the Contractor; Provided, that in any Year the United States reserves the right to require 14 that the Contractor shall divert all of its Contract Total, or any portion thereof, from 15 either the Sacramento River or Stony Creek or from each stream in the quantities 16 specified by the Contracting Officer but only if the quantities so specified to be diverted 17 from Stony Creek are available for such diversion. This proviso shall not be construed to 18 deny the Contractor its right to divert its Contract Total nor the right to divert from the 19 Sacramento River sufficient water to meet its minimum requirements north of Stony 20 Creek. Any time during the period April through October of any Year that the 21 Contracting Officer requires the Contractor to take water from the Sacramento River that 22 it would otherwise be entitled to divert from Stony Creek under its rights thereto 23 adjudicated in the Angle Decree, the Contractor authorizes the United States to divert, 1 store, or use such Stony Creek water. The Contractor also authorizes the diversion, 2 storage, or use of Stony Creek water by the United States prior to April 1 of any Year to 3 the extent of the Contractor’s rights under the Angle Decree. In the event of such 4 diversion, storage, or use prior to April 1, the United States will furnish and the 5 Contractor may divert a quantity of water from the Sacramento River equivalent to the 6 quantity of such Stony Creek water so diverted, stored, or used by the United States.
MEASUREMENT OF WATER. Delivered - District shall measure all water delivered to Contractor and shall keep and maintain accurate and complete records thereof. For such purpose, District shall install, operate and maintain at all delivery structures such measuring devices and equipment as are satisfactory and acceptable to both parties.
MEASUREMENT OF WATER. Water delivered pursuant to this Agreement shall be measured by meters to be furnished and maintained by the JWC at its own cost and expense at existing locations. Such meters shall be subject to periodic inspection and testing by the MWW and verified by the JWC according to the AWWA standards for frequency of testing, accuracy and tolerances of such meters. The cost of testing shall be paid by the JWC.
MEASUREMENT OF WATER. (a) All water diverted by the Contractor from the Sacramento River 3 will be diverted at the existing point or points of diversion shown on Exhibit A or at such 4 other points as may be mutually agreed upon in writing by the Contracting Officer and 5 the Contractor. 6 (b) All water diverted from the Sacramento River pursuant to this 7 Settlement Contract will be measured or caused to be measured by the Contractor at each 8 point of diversion with existing equipment or equipment to be installed, operated, and 9 maintained by the Contractor and at the Contractor’s expense. The equipment and 10 methods used to make such measurement shall be in accordance with sound engineering 11 practices. Upon request of the Contracting Officer, the accuracy of such measurements 12 will be investigated by the Contracting Officer and the Contractor and any errors 13 appearing therein will be corrected.
MEASUREMENT OF WATER. A. The quantity of water entering the mixer shall be measured by a suitable water meter or other measuring device of a type acceptable to the ENGINEER and capable of measuring the water in variable amounts within a tolerance of one percent.
MEASUREMENT OF WATER. SECTION 5.01. METERING EQUIPMENT — The City maintains flow meters and other equipment at the point of delivery of water to the Plant for properly measuring the quantity of water delivered under this Agreement. The Company shall have access to such metering equipment at all reasonable times, but the reading, calibration, and adjustment of the metering equipment shall be done only by the employees or agents of the City. For the purpose of this Agreement, the original record or reading of the meters shall be the journal or other record books maintained by the City in its office in which the records of the employees or agents of the City who take the reading may be transcribed. Upon written request of the Company, the City will send the Company a copy of such journal or record books, or permit it to have access to the same in the office of the City during reasonable business hours.
MEASUREMENT OF WATER. (a) SaskWater shall provide, maintain, and operate a meter or meters and such other necessary devices necessary for measuring the volume of Water that is supplied to Temple Hotels (the “Measuring Equipment”).
(b) SaskWater shall take monthly readings from the Measuring Equipment and provide the readings to the City to calculate the volume of Water disposed in the City’s System.
