MEASUREMENT OF WORK. 12.1 Measurement of works shall be made in the units mentioned in the Schedule of Rates as per details given in Technical/Standards specifications.
12.2 Wherever details are not available or inadequate in the execution drawings, physical measurements will be taken by the contractor in the presence of the representative of the Engineer-in-Charge. In such cases payment will be made on actual measurements.
MEASUREMENT OF WORK. The Owner shall, except as otherwise stated, ascertain and determine by measurement the value of the work done in accordance with Contract.
MEASUREMENT OF WORK. In addition to the provisions of Clause of the General Conditions of Contract and associated provisions thereof the following provisions shall applicable:
14.1 Payment will be made on the basis of joint measurements, taken by contractor and certified Engineer-In-Charge. Measurement shall base on the basis of approved drawings for construction to the extent that the work conforms to the drawings and details are adequate.
14.2 Wherever work is executed based on instruction of Engineer-In-Charge or details are not adequate in the drawings, physical measurement shall be taken by the contractor in the presence of authorized representatives of Engineer- In –Charge.
14.3 Measurement of weight shall be in Metric Tone, correct to the nearest kilogram, linear measurements shall be in meters, correct to the nearest centimeter.
14.4 Measurements shall be taken over finished surface in all cases.
MEASUREMENT OF WORK. The measurements of work will be taken according to the usual method in use in the RAJKOT MUNICIPAL CORPORATION and no proposals to adopt alternative methods will be accepted.

MEASUREMENT OF WORK. 1 Unless otherwise specified, the Departmental Representative will measure the Work for the purpose of determining payment to the Contractor. .2 The Departmental Representative will request the Contractor to attend with the Departmental Representative in making measurements. .3 If the Contractor does not attend pursuant to clause 1.4.2, measurements made or approved by the Departmental Representative will be considered to be the correct measurement for such part of the Work. .4 The Departmental Representative will prepare survey records and drawings for payment purposes as the Work progresses. The Departmental Representative will request the Contractor to attend, within 14 days, to examine and verify such records and drawings. If the Contractor does not attend to examine and verify such records and drawings, they will be considered to be correct. .5 If, after attending pursuant to clause 1.4.2 or 1.4.4, the Contractor disagrees with such measurements or records or drawings, they will nevertheless be considered correct until the Contractor notifies the Departmental Representative of the aspects in which they are considered incorrect. On receipt of such notice, the Departmental Representative will review the measurements or records or drawings and either confirm or vary them.
MEASUREMENT OF WORK. The CONTRACTOR or his authorized site engineer shall be available at site at all reasonable times to take joint measurement of work done for the purpose of payment and shall also provide without any extra charges, the necessary measuring instruments and men.

14.3.2 All items having a financial value shall be entered in Measurement Book, Level Book, etc. prescribed by the Owner so that a complete record is obtained of all work performed under the Contract.
14.3.3 Measurement shall be taken jointly by the Owner and by the Contractor. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to provide equipments, labour and other things necessary for measurements.
14.3.4 Measurement record shall be signed by both parties immediately after completion of measurement
