Common use of Medical and Vision Insurance Eligibility Clause in Contracts

Medical and Vision Insurance Eligibility. ‌ 1. All regular full-time employees shall participate in the County’s medical and vision insurance plan. 2. All part-time employees who were employed on December 31, 2001 in a position budgeted for at least .5 FTE, and remain continuously employed after that date in a position budgeted for at least .5 FTE, shall be eligible to continue participation in the County medical and vision insurance program. All part-time employees who were hired by the County on or after January 1, 2002, and all part-time employees who were employed on December 31, 2001 in a position budgeted for at least .5 FTE and who chose not to participate in the medical and vision insurance program, are not eligible for the County medical and vision insurance program.
