Medical Confirmation. Sick leave shall only be utilized when an illness prevents an employee from attending work. Employees must notify the Executive Director (or designate) when ill and unable to work. The Employer may request a report form a qualified medical practitioner for absences that exceed three days or when there is a pattern of consistent or frequent absences developing. Sick leave may be denied and benefits, if applicable, will cease to be paid when an employee fails to provide satisfactory evidence of medical disability that prevents her from working.
