Meeting Attendance. 28.01 When the Co-operative requires an employee to be present at a meeting called by the Co-operative, time spent at such meeting shall be considered as time worked. This provision shall not apply where attendance by an employee is voluntary. 28.02 It is understood that any dinner meetings called by the Co-operative will be in addition to the above, and no payment shall be considered as due for time spent by employees at such meeting, provided that dinner meetings are not on a compulsory basis. 28.03 Any employee who attends a meeting, which is compulsory, outside of their assigned working hours, shall be paid a minimum of two (2) hours' pay at the appropriate hourly rates of pay.
