Common use of Meeting Attendance Clause in Contracts

Meeting Attendance. 28.01 When the Co-operative requires an employee to be present at a meeting called by the Co-operative, time spent at such meeting shall be considered as time worked. This provision shall not apply where attendance by an employee is voluntary. 28.02 Any employee who attends a meeting, which is compulsory, outside of their assigned working hours, shall be paid a minimum of two (2) hours' pay at the appropriate hourly rates of pay.
