Membership in Medical Staff. Subject to Section 8.5, all Physicians engaged in performing the Services must be members of the Medical Staff with privileges entitling them to perform surgical services of the type and character of the Services. The Operator shall be responsible to AHS to ensure that the provisions of this Section are continuously complied with.

All physicians engaged in performing the Services must be members of the Medical Staff for Capital Health with privileges entitling them to perform surgical services of the type and character of the Services. For purposes of ensuring that the application of the Capital Health Medical Staff Discipline and General by-laws and the Rules and Regulations made pursuant thereto to Medical Staff while providing care at the Facility, the Facility shall be designated as a hospital site of Capital Health under the Nova Scotia Hospitals Act only in relation to the Facility and the Operator’s role in providing the Services. The Operator shall be responsible to Capital Health to ensure that the provisions of this Section are continuously complied with.
